Overall Review: Overall is a great laptop, it's just that there were some software issues like the outdated BIOS mentioned above that caused the hardware to stop working with the main board.

Once I did that update there were no more problems. A newer version than what was already on the laptop. I figured out that ASUS had a BIOS update for the laptop on it's website. Apparently ASUS replace the motherboard but the same problem happened again three months later. I had to RMA my laptop twice because something went wrong with the GT 745m graphics card and was able to get free shipping the first time. The processor, although dual core, it still has 4 hyperthreads and I was able to do some good content creationĬons: This laptop is great but although not without it's faults, it's mostly due to software issues really, the hard ware if great. It comes with a 128gb sd and a 1TB HDD so you will not sacrifice space. I recommend you get the WD Black2 dual drive. I do recommend that you do upgrade the HDD later down the road to a Hybrid Drive. The Touchscreen panel is an IPS display and have great color reproduction and anything on it looks great. The graphics card in it is a middle class one but I was able to play GTA V no medium settings with no issues and is good for light competitive games like League of Legends and Heroes of the Storm.
It has a great built quality with an brushed aluminum finish. It was fast and worked great even with the 1TB HDD. Pros: I bought this laptop brand new in 2014.
